TextileArtist.org
A free online resource, hoping to help fiber art and artists get the accolades they deserve. “We want to bring a contemporary voice to a traditional medium… and we want that voice to be heard!” Two brothers who wanted to support their fiber artist mother, Sue Stone, launched TextileArtist.org back in late 2012. It appears to be of universal/international interest, and have released interviews with over 500 practitioners from all over the world. Their website/newsletter/blog/magazine offers Articles. Videos. Newsletters. Ebooks. Online courses. Interviews with some amazing textile artists close to the present day, such as Maggie Scott, https://maggiescottonline.com and https://www.maggiescottart.com in the south of England. I don’t know if it is being kept up the but existing interviews are worth a visit.
