Story Project

With special funding from the National Endowment for the Arts, the Morris David Dorenfeld Foundation, and our members and friends, we are capturing the stories of Maine artists who are influential in fiber. These include felters, quilters, rug hookers, papermakers, mixed media artists and others creating seminal work. With this project, we also commemorate the work of great artists who have passed so that a new generation of makers might come to know their work. Find their stories here.
