Out Of My RealmWool, Silk, Cotton Floss, Leather/Wet Felted and Hand Stitch. This vessel has very thin walls, but, has excellant rigidity. The technique emplyed uses very little wool over a large area and it creates a well shrunk piece of felt. The outlined areas are representative of the ocean surf. They were created using organza silk. The red relief flecks are handstitched and represent schools of fish. our oceans are fragile. We need to protect them.
