Knitting and Sunning at Haystack

This summer, I had the great fortune to serve as the Technical Assistant to Katharine Cobey’s knitting class. We were a group of about 16 intrepid knitters out to create our own designs while learning from the master. The weather was absolutely picture-perfect for the one week in August that we attended. Here are some photos of the knitting sessions, lounging on the decks, preparing for the studio walk-through, and touring other studios. Perhaps 200 craft enthusiasts from throughout the world attended the sessions (ceramics, blacksmithing, fiber, book arts, surface design, encaustics, and the fabrication lab) and had a spectacular learning adventure.
