In July, I visited the 36th Annual Maine Quilts Show at the Augusta Civic Center. This is a huge display, organized by the Pine Tree Quilters Guild, with over 600 quilts, special exhibits, merchants mall, demonstrations, quilt appraisals, and workshops. Photos were permitted, so I present these details of quilts—a very small sampling of work that caught my eye.
